How to Clear your Browser's Cache

Clearing your cache at the beginning of each work week before accessing BFS is a good general practice that will help you avoid access or navigation problems.

Firefox

• Go to Tools > Clear Recent History or History > Clear Recent History.
• Select a time range to clear.
• Be sure that Cache is selected, then click Clear Now.

Internet Explorer 8 or 9

• From the Tools menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History.
• Select Temporary Internet Files and click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7

• Go to Tools > Delete browsing history.
• Under the Temporary Internet Files heading, click Delete files.

Internet Explorer 6

• Open Internet Explorer 6 and go to Tools > Internet Options > General.
• Click Delete Files.
• Check the box next to Delete all offline content and click OK.

Safari

• Open Safari and go to Safari > Empty Cache or Edit > Empty Cache.
• Click Empty.

Chrome

• Open Tools > Options > Under the Hood > Privacy
• Click Clear browsing data.
• Choose a time range to clear.
• Select Empty the cache.
• Click Clear browsing data.
