Fiscal Close - Update on BAIRS Deficit Reporting

The C&G Deficit Report will be updated with June C&G transaction detail and fund exemption (including Deficit Waiver) information immediately following the posting of the June 2007 payroll to the Actuals ledger.
Currently, June payroll is scheduled to appear on the BAIRS reports on July 10th. On July 11 the C&G Deficit Report will be contain preliminary June Budget and Financial transactions (including payroll), and fund exemption information.

Also on July 11th, the recharge tolerances for June will appear in the Deficit Report which covers Recharge and Other Current funds.

Please mark your calendars to check your reports on July 11th as well as July 12th (as July 11th transactions that have been posted and reviewed would affect what you see on the morning of July 12th) for any outstanding deficits that need to be cleared by the end of the day on July 12th when the campus is locked out of Tempbudg and Actuals journal processing for FY06-07.

This will give users almost two days to prepare budgetary and/or financial journals to clear deficits based on nearly complete June data.
Please remember to date your journals 06/30/07. Please also note that by this time OPTRS and Zero Adjustments will no longer be an option to move expenses.
