BFS User Support Service Update

As has been announced to the campus, the BFS and HRMS Help Desk groups are now part of a larger group supporting users of BFS, BAIRS, and HRMS called Enterprise Systems Solutions (ESS). ESS is moving its offices to 2168 Shattuck Avenue (Constitution Square) on Thursday, April 5, with the move expected to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, April 6.

As part of the move and to reflect the reorganization of HRMS and BFS user support into a single department, phone access will be changed in the following way: Starting Monday, April 9, users of either system may call 2-6800 (Enterprise Systems User Support) and be directed to either help desk by choosing the appropriate option (1 for BFS, 2 for HRMS). Users may also continue to contact BFS support directly at 3-4250 or HRMS support directly at 3-4443.

Phone support will not be available to the campus on Thursday, April 5. We are hopeful that it will be restored early in the day on Friday, April 6; however, we would like campus users to plan for it not to be available at all, and to e-mail any questions or issues to bfsbairs@berkeley.edu or hrmshelp@berkeley.edu. You are also most welcome to leave voicemail messages, which we will return as possible throughout the day and on Monday, April 9.
