Error in Credit Card Processing Fee Allocations

Bank of America Merchant Services recently informed the Controller’s Office of an error distributing the full amount of credit card processing fee allocations to campus merchant accounts for the period of August 26 through September 6, 2011. As a result, campus merchants may see partial fees, or no fees, recorded in their departmental chartstrings in the September ledger.
The General Accounting Office is currently working with Bank of America to identify the additional appropriate fee allocations. We will notify you when this issue has been resolved.
