June / Fiscal Year 2007 Close

The month of June 2007 and the 2006-07 fiscal year are closed in the BFS Actuals and Temporary Budget ledgers, and the results are in BAIRS today, 8/7/07.

July 2007 -- For Summary reports, FY2006-07 year-end balances have been calculated for non-Contract and Grant funds (Tempbudg minus Actuals), and net amounts have been carried forward in the Temporary Budget column. For active Contract and Grant funds, 06/30/07 Inception-to-date Tempbudg and
Actuals data have been carried forward in their respective columns. For
Detail Reports (e.g., the Standard Detail report) Beginning Balances are being calculated and will be available to users tomorrow mid-day.
Encumbrances and pre-encumbrances for all funds are not subject to the closing process and are unaffected. Their carry-forward balances are being calculated and will be available tomorrow morning.

Please check to ensure you have no outstanding journals for the June period. If the transactions are still applicable, you can copy these journals with a future date in order to post them in a future period.
Otherwise, please delete them.
