Organizational Changes within the Controller’s Office, effective July 2007

In the ongoing effort to make our organization more effective, the Controller’s Office has revised its organizational structure. We have grouped the departments that provide financial reporting and business support to campus’ financial operations under the Assistant Controller.
This new area is now called Financial Accounting and Operations and includes the following units: General Accounting, Payroll, Billing & Payment Services, Disbursements, and Travel & Entertainment. Dwight Hendrix will serve as interim Disbursements Manager while we recruit for a permanent replacement.

The updated organizational chart can be viewed at http://controller.berkeley.edu/AboutFS.htm#OrgChart. We hope this new structure and web page will make it easier to contact and communicate with our office.
