Update on GL Pre-Encumbrance Report

Due to complications with requisitions following the fall 2005 BFS upgrade, some rows on the BAIRS GL Pre-Encumbrance report are missing data or appear with incorrect data. In a few instances, rows appeared with only chartstring information and the amount, with the word "UNKNOWN" in the Preparer and Approver columns. Under normal circumstances, these UNKNOWN rows work behind the scenes to release the lien on the original requisition and thereby remove it from your Pre_encumbrance report.
However, in these few instances, these rows appear with a different requisition ID and rather than zeroing out the requisition balance and thereby removing the rows from the report, it displays the original requisition as a debit and this UNKNOWN row as a credit. We have been able to run a process to add the requisition ID numbers and the date to these UNKNOWN rows so that they will be combined with the original requisition and will no longer appear on the report.
