How do I enroll in a BFS or BAIRS class*?

   1.  Point your web browser to ICE:
         http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/ice/home/index.cfm
   2.  Click "enroll now."
   3.  Select a Course Title or Course Code.
   4.  Click go button. 
   5.  Scroll down to see available sessions, if necessary.
   6.  Click enroll button next to session of your choice.
   7.  Enter employee number or temporary ID and last name.
   8.  Click login button.
   9.  Verify information and add your complete e-mail, if necessary.
 10.  Click enroll button.
 11.  Print confirmation.

If you have difficulty enrolling in a BAI class or forum, please call Jacqueline Bacon at 643-3802 for assistance.

*Note: The Five Field Validation training is not in ICE because is offered on an as needed basis. Call 3-4250 or email bfsbairs@uclink to enroll.

How do I find the Course Title or Course Code?

   2.  Click "browse the catalog".
   3.  Select "Sponsoring Program" and click on "Browse".
   4.  Use the Drop Down option when Sponsoring Program appears.
         
   5.  From the list of Sponsoring Programs, select (double click):
      Financial Systems User Support for BFS overview, BFS Journals and
               BAIRS classes.        
   6.  Determine the class and enroll.

What is ICE?

• ICE is the Interactive Enrollment System. It is a web-based class enrollment system for most staff training on campus.

Can I tell my friends in other departments that they should get on ICE and enroll?

• Yes. Have them follow the procedures outlined above for the appropriate class.

 Can I invite a co-worker to drop-in on a BFS or BAIRS class?

• Drop-ins are generally NOT accepted. Anyone who wants to attend a BFS/BAIRS should sign up via ICE.

What if my schedule changes and I can’t make it to the class I enrolled in?

• If you must cancel an enrollment, do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can fill your seat. Cancellations must be done 48 hours before the class.

• You will have to cancel your existing enrollment via ICE and enroll in another class.

I need sign language interpreting, lots of leg room, a particular table height, or other assistance. What do I do?

• For other BFS/BAIRS courses, please call Jacqueline Bacon at 643-3802 to discuss any special needs.
